The  3rd International Scientific Conference TMM_CH  with the theme “Innovative, Interdisciplinary, Digital Preservation of Cultural Heritage: Redefining the identity of the world in crisis and conflict, through culture” which was co-organized by the National Technical University of Athens and the Technical Chamber of Greece, is coming to an end today . 20 to 23 March 2023, at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens . The International Conference, chaired by NTUA Professor Emeritus and member of the TEE Board of Directors, Mr. Antonia Moropoulou, is organized in collaboration with international organizations and councils, scientific associations and cultural heritage protection bodies.

The start of the work was carried out on  Monday, March 20, 2023 by the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Panagiotis Pikrammenos, with the blessings of His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Hieronymus, and His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem, under the auspices of President of the Republic, Mrs. Katerina Sakellaropoulou, and opening greetings from the Rector of NTUA, Prof. Andreas Boutouvis, the President of TEE, Mr. Giorgos Stasinos, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Education, Culture and Youth, Mrs. Mariya Gabriel , the Secretary General of ICOMOS, Professor Mario Santana Quintero, the Director General of the Ministry of Antiquities of Israel, Dr. Eli Eskosido, the President of ETEK, Mr. Konstantinos Konstantis, the Rector of the University of Ioannina, Professor Anna Batistatou, the President of CHiFA and Honorary President of the WMF, Mrs. Bonnie Burnham, the President of CIPA Heritage Documentation, Professor Efstratios Stylianides, AUTH, and the Director of the UNESCO Chair DCH, Dr. Marino Ioannidis.

In the 13  Scientific Sessions  , 163 scientific papers are presented, by 487 authors from the 5 continents, selected after a judgment by the International Scientific Committee of the Conference, out of a total of 416 scientific papers submitted (acceptance rate 39%).
