Gabriele Favero is Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Sapienza University of Rome and Chairman of Didactic Board in Science and Technologies for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage. He is author of more than 100 peer-reviewed papers on international journals, 35 conference proceedings, 4 book chapters and 230 oral or poster contributions to national and international congresses spanning several fields of Analytical Chemistry with particular reference to electroanalytics and bioanalytics, developing the theoretical,methodological and technical-instrumental aspects for the realization of sensors with electrochemical transduction and electrochemical techniques applied to the diagnostics of cultural heritage.

Laura Medeghini is a Researcher at Sapienza University of Rome and Professor of “Geomaterials for Cultural Heritage” in Science and Technologies for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage master’s degree. She is author of more than 30 peer-reviewed papers on international journals, 15 conference proceedings, 13 book chapters and 30 oral or poster contributions to national and international congresses focusing on the archaeometric characterization of materials in the field of cultural heritage to define the technology and provenance.

Alessia Masi is a Researcher at Sapienza University of Rome and Professor of “Archaeobotany in the laboratory and in the field” in Science and Technologies for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage master’s degree. She is also guest researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History (MPI-SHH) in Jena (Germany). She is specialized in palynological and archaeobotanical researches of Mediterranean sites. She focuses her research on the reconstruction of past vegetation, its evolution and on the uses of plants with particular attention to the effects of human impact and population resilience. She is author of 39 peer-reviewed papers on international journals including Nature and Science Advances, 14 conference proceedings, 12 book chapters and 88 oral or poster contributions to international congresses
